TERMS & CONDITIONS

1.DEFINITIONS

“Booking” The period for which you have paid to stay at the property.

“Property” Papillon Coolum and all its fixtures, fittings and equipment.

“Management” The owners and managers of the property.

"Guests" The persons who stay overnight in the property during the booking.

"Visitor" A person a guest permits to visit the property during the booking.

2. ACCEPTANCE & RESPONSIBILITY.

Payment constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

3. PARTIES, FUNCTIONS & NOISE

Papillon Villas is a luxury residential community and is very noise sensitive. Due to the design of the complex and proximity to permanent residents, there are no parties allowed. Please be mindful of noise levels when on verandah and deck areas. This applies also when entering and leaving the complex. STRICTLY no disturbance of neighbours will be tolerated. Breach of this condition may result in immediate termination and eviction without refund and extra charges for security, cleaning, garbage removal, damage etc.

4. PARKING

No parking is permitted in front of villas, except for short term loading and unloading (max 10 mins). Limited visitor parking is available.

5. GATE SECURITY CODES

Security code for access to both the driveway and pedestrian gate is available from manager.

6. POOL RULES

Pool hours 7am – 9pm. Children under 12 years must be supervised by an adult at all times.

7. SMOKING

No smoking inside or on the balcony. Smoking inside the Papillon Coolum complex is forbidden. Smoking is permitted outside the front gate, or through the northern pedestrian gate.

8. CHECK IN / OUT

Check-in: 2pm. Check out: 10am. Other times by prior arrangement. (fees may apply)

9. PAYMENT OPTION

We accept payment by direct deposit only.

Credit card surcharges apply for damages.

A 50% deposit is required at time of booking (this will be requested via email along with the confirmation). Full payment required 7 days prior to arrival.

10. CANCELLATION OR VARIATION OPTION

Deposit is non-refundable in the event of a cancellation within 21 days of stay. Cancellation outside of 21 days will incur an administration fee of $200. This policy applies even in the event of Covid-19 travel restrictions as we have had to make this decision to protect our owners from financial loss.

Date changes are free subject to availability.

11. SECURITY BOND

A credit card authorisation must be provided upon check in. Any damage, loss or expense incurred as a result of your breach of these Terms & Conditions will be charged to the credit card. Examples include but are not limited to any breakage, damage, excess cleaning requirements or exceeding guest limits. Eviction due to unauthorised parties and noise disturbances will be subject to further charges.

12. UNAVAILABILITY

Management will make every effort to ensure the property is available as booked. However the owners reserve the right to make alterations to bookings due to unforeseen circumstances.

13. PETS

Papillon Coolum is not equipped to accommodate guest pets.

14. POOL

Hours are 7am till 9pm. Children under 12 to be supervised by an adult at all times.

15. YOUR OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES

Damage, breakages – please notify management
All rubbish taken to wheelie bin enclosure near entrance
Sink cleared and dishwasher on before leaving
Be responsible for the safekeeping of keys – replacement charges apply
All furniture and furnishings must be left in the position they were in when you arrived
Clean BBQ – additional cleaning fees may apply
The property should be vacated on time and secured. All keys must be returned to on-site manager or as otherwise directed
